We’re Rob and Tamara, the faces behind this dream, excited for you to make our Refuge, your own. Our journey started in Subiaco, Western Australia. The memories and the friends we made left an imprint on us and after deciding to return to the Island to make a life together, we had to bring that feeling back. A feeling of friendship and a determination to bring local produce and local people together in comfortable and stylish surroundings.

Meet Our Chef
With over 30 years experience in hospitality, after training at the IOM College, Steve’s skills have taken him around the world as far afield as Australia and New Zealand.
The Isle of Man has always been home for Steve and as such he has a passion for local produce and will always choose local wherever possible. He is passionate about providing the tastiest and most flavoursome food experience for guests.
Adam has been working in the catering industry for 26 years and within that time his career has taken me to some unique locations and destinations covering a wide variety of establishments and given him the opportunity to be part of some amazing culinary experiences including both rosette and Michelin kitchens.
Adam has a huge passion for food and locally, ethically sourced produce that highlights the diversity and seasonality of the region and the country at the same time trying to educate customers and community in the importance of trying to reduce our carbon foot print and environmental impact by using food that is on our door step.
